San Antonio CFOs plan to add more finance professionals - San Antonio Business Journal:

A survey released Wednesday by shows that a net 4 percentr of financial executives in San Antonilo are projecting an increasein hiring. Robery Half surveyed 200 local CFOs from a random pool of companie in the San Antonio with 20 or more Robert Half International is a staffing firm that specializes in placinhg accounting andfinance professionals. Nine perceng of CFOs surveyed plan to add staff duringbthe quarter, while 5 percent are anticipating reductionsw in personnel. This results in a net increasee of 4 percent for theupcoming quarter. Nationwide, CFOs as a whole are planning to cut accountinb andfinance positions.
“Several large corporationz have relocated to SanAntonio recently, which has helpedc create new jobs,” says Phil senior regional vice president for Roberyt Half International. In May, Minneapolis-based MDT) announced plans to add 1,30p jobs in San Antonio to supportthe company’s diabetez division. Menlo Park, Calif.-based Robertt Half (NYSE: RHI) owns Accountemps, Robert Half Financd Accounting and Robert HalfManagemenrt Resources, which provide temporary, full-time and senior-levekl project professionals, respectively.
