BE&K Building Group of Vienna won preconstruction and constructionn services forthe building, which is expected to delivedr next spring. The 37-year-old statewidee association represents constructionand construction-related firmse and has offices in Chantilly, Richmond, and Hampton Roads. The new space will include training classrooms, support space, meeting space and administrative ABC-VA will occupy a littlee over half, or 17,500 squard feet, and the rest will be lease out to tenants that have not beenselectexd yet. The project was designed by Morganb GickMcBeath & Associatees PC to get Gold Leadership in Energyt and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Greebn Building Council. Sustainable features will include a perviouse concrete pavement system to act as a stormk water system forthe facility, recycled glassx terrazzo flooring, waterless urinalse and dual flush water closets.
